SHERATON AND XEROX OPEN BUSINESS CENTER

              Sheraton Hotels in
Waikiki and Xerox Hawaii have opened a full-service, hotel based business center at Sheraton Waikiki.  The 1,900-square foot facility is located on the fourth floor, within the HoŒokipa Center, which is also the site of the hotel¹s fitness center and Keiki Aloha program.  

              The facility features desktop workstations equipped with high speed internet access; a wireless access lounge; computer, cell phone and office equipment rentals; packaging and shipping services; office products; auxiliary and fax services; and on-site notary service.
              The
Xerox Business Center at the Sheraton Waikiki is equipped and fully managed by Xerox Hawaii and is open seven days per week, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. From 6 to 9 p.m. , full workstation access and limited business center services are available.   The business center is available to guests staying at any of the four of the Sheraton Oahu properties including Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Sheraton Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

 

 

MAY VISITOR ARRIVALS UP 17 PERCENT.


               
HONOLULU – Continued growth in domestic visitor arrivals, combined with another monthly surge in visitors from Japan , led to a 17 percent increase in total visitor arrivals in May 2004 compared to the same month last year.  The data was released by the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT).
              Domestic arrivals by air increased 8.9 percent to 392,335 visitors for the month and represented the best May on record.  Arrivals from
Japan , which comprised over 70 percent of all international visitors, soared 54.3 percent.
              Total visitor days numbered 4.7 million while the average length of stay by these visitors was 8.63 days.


Aloha Live! Concert Tour

Will Market Hawaii

              HONOLULU Hawaii entertainers Willie K., Amy Hanaialii Gilliom, Robi Kahakalau, and Sean Naauao will perform their signature music while singing the praises of travel to the Hawaiian Islands on Aloha Live! a summer concert tour co-promoted by the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB).
              From July 29 to August 25, Aloha Live! will perform in 20 of
Hawaii ’s top source cities in the U.S. East and U.S. West Major Market Areas (MMAs), and in Canada . The tour is being produced by WorldSound, LLC. For the past several years, WorldSound has worked with many of the Island ’s finest artists to spread the music of Hawaii around the globe.
              Aloha Live! is targeting almost all of
Hawaii ’s top source markets, including San Diego , Los Angeles , Orange County , San Francisco , Las Vegas , Sacramento , Seattle , Vancouver , Salt Lake City , Phoenix , Houston , Dallas , St. Louis , Denver , Chicago , Detroit , and New York .
