New series shreds Hawaiian surf,

Beyond the Break, shot on location

The N, the nighttime network for teens, surfs into summer with its newest original half-hour

series Beyond the Break (formerly Makaha Surf) produced by MarVista Entertainment and

Brookwell McNamara Entertainment (BME) in collaboration with The N.  Shot entirely on location

in Oahu, Hawaii, the 20-episode series premieres on air with an hour-long special Friday,

June 2 at 8:30 p.m. (ET) on The N.  The series airs regularly Fridays at 8:30 p.m. (ET)

Beyond the Break is an intense dramatic series combining surf and sun as it drops in on

the competitive world of professional surfing.  Four passionate women with diverse backgrounds

will pursue their dreams of becoming professional surfers.  But in order to remain afloat, each of

them must overcome issues to capture surf stardom from WaveSync, a struggling surf company

eager to reinvigorate itself.

David Chokachi plays Justin Healey, a former surfing legend and Pipeline Masters Champ

who’s been given a second chance to right his wrongs as a coach for WaveSync.  Justin is hired

to help bring the company back on top as he mentors the women in both their personal and professional

endeavors.  As Justin grapples with his own challenges, he must take on a new role as coach and

confidant for a household of four women with four different personalities.

"Beyond the Break embodies every teen's dream -- to live on the beach, get paid and surf

in Hawaii, America’s paradise,” said Kenny Miller, Vice President, Programming and Production,

The N.  “The series showcases the highs and lows of leaving home and confronting the reality

that pursuing your dreams is much harder than you ever imagined.”

The N will also be offering exclusive Beyond the Break content online at www.the-n.com.

Fans will have VIP access to exclusive clips, episodic information, cast profiles and character

descriptions.  Available immediately, viewers can “Meet the Stars” of Beyond the Break online

and log on for fun facts, a photo flipbook, a downloadable IM icon and wallpaper for each of the

series regulars.

Donald Trump will build
Waikiki luxury hotel-condo

The Trump Organization CEO Donald J. Trump and Irongate principals  Jason
Grosfeld and Adam Fisher today announced the development of a luxury hotel condominium,
part of Outrigger Enterprises' Waikiki Beach Walk project.
Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Beach Walk, at Saratoga and
Kalia roads, will include a 350-foot tower with approximately 460 luxury hotel-condominium
units ranging from approximately 500 to 3,000 square feet. The building will consist of
approximately 775,000 gross square feet and will include four stories of parking and
6,500 square feet of dining and retail space.
The building's lavish appointments will include a library, wine cellar, lobby bar,
café, outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace with ocean views, indoor/outdoor dining and
bar area, cabanas with tropical landscaping and views of the ocean and neighboring
Fort DeRussy park, a private fitness center and spa, and separate residential and hotel lobbies.
The lobby will be an extravagant two-story structure with sprawling ocean
views and will be attended by round-the-clock concierge service.  Trump
Tower will pamper guests and residents with 24-hour room service, valet and
porter service.
Outrigger Enterprises, the master developer of Waikiki Beach Walk, sold the
development rights for the Trump Tower site to Irongate last year, and the two companies
are working together to make the overall development of Waikiki Beach Walk a resounding
success.
Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Beach Walk is being designed
by the Manhattan, New York-based Guerin-Glass Architects in conjunction with
Benjamin Woo Architects of Honolulu.  Brett Hill Management will manage the
design and construction of the project as project manager.  S&P Destination Properties and
Karl Heyer will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the hotel-condominium suites.
Public marketing and sales activities are expected to begin later this spring, with construction
starting in early 2007; completion is slated for early 2009.  Demolition of the existing buildings
on the site should be completed by the end of July 2006.
In addition to being one of the largest developers and property managers in

New York, Trump is currently building residential, hotel and golf club projects in Las Vegas,

Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, the Caribbean, Westchester, N.Y. and

Bedminster, N.J. He also continues to be active with numerous literary pursuits, charitable

organizations and his worldwide number

one hit reality television show, The Apprentice.

Jake's brother Bruce

at Sheraton Esprit Lounge

Composer and ukulele virtuoso Bruce Shimabukuro, accompanied by The BS Band, unites with the Sheraton entertainment ohana to put on a weekly performance in Sheraton Waikiki’s Esprit Lounge beginning June 3, 2006.

Guests 21 and over are welcomed to enjoy the musical showmanship of Bruce Shimabukuro, Gary Akiona (guitar) and Jody Kamisato (bass), every Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  Admission is $10 per person at the door and includes complimentary parking validation for self-parked vehicles in the Sheraton Waikiki Parking Garage. Monthly drink and pupu specials are available.

Please call Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki Central Dining Desk at 921-4600 for more information.

The younger brother of internationally renowned ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro, Bruce’s style is distinctly different and that has helped him emerge as an innovative master in his own right.

His ever-expanding repertoire borrows from a wide array of genres, including bluegrass, blues, classical, folk, funk, jazz and rock.  Opening his own ukulele school, Ukulele Essence, in 2002

and having toured Japan extensively to play gigs, Bruce’s humble roots taking lessons from his mother at the age of five seem far off in the past.

As Bruce begins to emerge into the mainstream, his brother Jake notes, “He does things that I couldn’t do when I was his age, and so I really admire him and can’t wait to see what he’s going to play next.”  Jake also admits that Bruce has a substantially better singing voice.

With lightning-fast fingers, revolutionary playing techniques and his debut album “Incognito” recently having been well received by audiences and critics alike, Bruce is a favorite to win "Best New Artist" at the 2007 Hoku Awards – leaving no doubt that he has truly

earned his spot as one of Hawaii’s leading musicians.
